Currently, there is a glaring lack of adequate SWM facilities throughout the IHR, and the existing situation is alarming. Establishing comprehensive SWM facilities across the region is undoubtedly an urgent necessity.
The Snow Marathon’s aim and objectives are designed to address these pressing issues by expanding the existing pilot project in the region and enhancing awareness, knowledge, and practices related to waste minimization and recycling. The initiative focuses on a three-fold approach:
